| Welcome to my small contribution to the world of Genealogy.
The research of my family has been a real adventure which has developed into a absorbing and enjoyable hobby. I began my family research with many questions for my father as I was so sure I was related to Rob Roy from Scotland, but this was only fantasy as the original surname in England had changed twice to finally be given as McGregor. The hobby became more serious when I developed a curiousity to find out where the settlers and their families went after getting off the boats in Australia and New Zealand. Tracing the descendents of these settlers has resulted in my meeting and talking with very interesting people which is more enjoyable when one remembers that these people are in fact my own relatives. Since the beginning of my delving into my family tree I have been very fortunate that a number of very generous researchers have contributed important data to assist my piecing together the beginnings of this family jigsaw. I now wish to thank all those who answered my letters over the years, talked to me by phone and who now email with their pieces of the the family jigsaw. If you happen to find you are connected to my family, please email me, as I would love to hear from you |

| My online family research concentrates only on three branches of the family ancestry
Research of the name Prebble began with James Prebble who with his family, sailed on the boat 'Aurora' from Kent in England, arriving Port Nicholson in 1840 as one of the early settlers in New Zealand. |
| PREBBLE |
| Research of the name Schneider began with Johann Adam Schneider who with his family, sailed on the boat 'Susanne Godeffroy'
from Germany arriving Morton Bay in 1864 and settling in the state of Queensland, Australia. |

| The following section has been added to my site, for the benefit of my two sons,
Malcolm and Gavin. This is part of their family stretching back through their mother, Lorraine Thaisa FORSYTH, where they have ancestors originating from England and Scotland. |

Hello cousins and relatives. I have become a Freemason and am thoroughly enjoying the experience. So much so that I have decided to make up a small website about Freemasonry and my Freemason's Lodge and include it as part of my genealogy site so as to share with you some general information and history of a very old Lodge of this country If you are a Freemason, as I now know from those funny handshakes when we first met, that some of you are, and if you ever visit my home town, let me know, bring your gear, and I will take you to a meeting at my lodge or we can just simply go visiting together. I promise we will have a very interesting and enjoyable lodge meeting, either during the day or evening, your choice. If you are not a Freemason please come in and have a leisurely look around, it really is an interesting, enjoyable and self rewarding world. To enter my world of Freemasonry, please knock on the front door of the Lodge |
